ESSAY COMPETITION ON “LEGAL REFORMS ON GENDER EQUALITY IN THE EU”

If you are interested in Gender and Law, this is for you. In the context of our Campaign on Gender and Law, we are now hosting an essay competition!

Are you still in doubt and wondering in which direction your submission could go? An example could be to write about the option for a non-binary gender on passports and other forms of identification in the context of the EU’s role in legal gender recognition. 

The deadline to participate is the 25th of May 2022 (midnight). Simply send and email with your submission to advocacy@nl.elsa.org. 

The best submission will be rewarded with a 20Euro bol.com gift card and published on our social media channels together with an abstract of their submission.

Length: articles between 2000-3000 and case notes between 1000-3000.

Language: British English

Referencing: OSCOLA

Format: Microsoft Word Document

Font: Times New Roman or Cambria point 12

Line spacing: 1.5

The submission shall include a table of contents, headings, titles and a bibliography

Plagiarism and prior publication: the submission must be the original work of the author and must not have been published elsewhere. In order to participate you do not have to be a member of ELSA the Netherlands. You must be a student currently enrolled at a university where ELSA is established.
