LEGAL RESEARCH GROUPS

WHAT IS A LEGAL RESEARCH GROUP?

Legal Research Groups (LRGs) form a part of ELSA’s many academic projects. An LRG consists of groups of students and/or lawyers who carry out research on a specified field of law with an aim to making their conclusions publicly and internationally accessible.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

  • Put your skills to the test: Legal research goes hand in hand with the development of research skills, legal writing skills and teamwork skills.
  • Network: LRGs provide the opportunity to work with experts from certain fields of law & facilitate cooperation between students/young lawyers who have similar goals and interests.
  • Get recognised & published: You will be part of a valid legal publication, get recognised in a professional environment, and be awarded with a Certificate of Participation.
