ELSA the Netherlands Team Vacancies
The ELSA the Netherlands Team supports the National Board of ELSA the Netherlands with the governing of the association. The members of the ELSA the Netherlands Team are responsible for the organisation of activities, but also support the supporting areas with the development of the Dutch Network. The ELSA the Netherlands Teammembers are the backbone of our association.

Internal Management
IM01: Director for Local Groups
The Director for Local Groups shall be responsible fot the cooperation between the Local Groups that are a Member or Observer of ELSA the Netherlands. The Director for Local Groups will support the Local Groups in starting coöperations, keep in regular contact with the Local Groups to see whether there are issues in which they require help from the National Team. The Director for Local Groups will then make sure the Local Group gets in contact with the right team member.
The Director shall make sure the knowledge of best practices is shared between the Local Groups and shall make sure the Local Groups have the opportunity to learn from each other. They shall also organise meetings in which the Secretary Generals of the Local Groups can discuss topics which involve the Dutch Network as a whole. The Director for Local Groups shall facilitate this meetings and be the Chairperson of this meetings.
Requirements:
- Good command in the English or Dutch language

- Motivated to help the Local Groups develop
- Knowledge about ELSA is preferred
IM02: Director for Human Resources
The Director for Human Resources shall be responsible for the Human Resources Team of ELSA the Netherlands. They shall make sure the Assistants in the Team know what is expected from them and make sure the National Board is informed of the activities of the Human Resources Team. They shall also support the members of the Human Resource Team in their responsibilies and the fulfillment of their tasks.

IM03: Assistant for Human Resources
The Assistant for Human Resources shall be responsible for the drafing of a Human Resources policy for ELSA the Netherlands. They shall work together with the rest of the Human Resources Team to constately improve the Human Resources policy of ELSA the Netherlands. They shall also support the Director for Human Resources with the coördiation of the Human Resources Team.

IM04: Assistant for Recruitment
The Assistant for Recruitment shall be responsible for supporting Local Groups which are a Member or Observer of ELSA the Netherlands with the recruitment of new members for our Network. They shall find out the best practices of Local Groups, support the Local Groups that are having troubles finding new members and make, together with the Marketing Team, marketing materials for the association. They shall also be responsible for supporting the Assisant for Human Resources with the drafting of the recruitment part of the Human Resources Policy.

IM05: Assistant for Appointment
The Assistant for Appointment shall be responsible for supporting the Local Groups with appointing new members in their team. They shall support the Local Groups in the drafting of the vacancies and interviews. They shall help the National Board in the drafting of new vacancies and provide advice for the appointment of new Team Members for the ELSA the Netherlands Team. They shall also be responsible for supporting the Assistant for Human Resources with the drafting of the appointment part of the Human Resources Policy.

IM06: Assistant for Training
The Assistant for Training shall be responsible for the training of newly appointed Team members of the National Group and the Local Groups. They shall provide the necessary information to the Local Groups and host trainings themselve. They shall also be responsible for supporting the Assistant for Human Resources with the drafting of the training part of the Human Resources Policy.

IM07: Assistant for Retention
The Assistant for Retention shall be responsible for the retention of members within the Dutch Network. They shall make sure the members know about our alumni network and motivate members at the end of the year to continue being part of our association. They shall also be responsible for supporting the Assistant for Human Resources with the drafting of the retention part of the Human Resources Policy.

IM08: Director for Privacy
The Director for Privacy shall be responsible for the ensuring of GDPR compliance within the Dutch Network. They shall help the Local Groups with the drafting of a privacy policy and have regular meetings about how the compliance can be improved. They shall also keep the National Board updated about developments in the field of privacy. The Director for Privacy is nominated by the National Board and appointed by the National Council.

IM09: Assistant for Data Protection
The Assistant for Privacy shall support the Director for Privacy in the drafting of a Privacy statement for ELSA the Netherlands and ensure that the National Team applies the Privacy statement correctly.

IM10: Director for Legal Compliance
The Director for Legal Compliance shall ensure the National Board and the Local Groups act in accordance with applicable law. They shall provide the National Board with requested advice but also give advice out of own initiative. They shall, together with the Director for Regulations and the working group for the regulations, check whether the Statutes need to be amended and if this is the case draft a proposal.

IM11: Director for Internal Meetings
The Director for Internal Meetings shall be responsible for supporting the Organising Committee with the organisation of Internal Meetings. They shall represent the Secretary General during meetings with the Organising Committees. They shall give requested advice or advice out of own initiative to the National Board about the organisation of the internal meetings of ELSA the Netherlands.

IM12: Assistant for National Internal Meetings
The Assistant for National Internal Meetings shall be responsible for the development of the National Internal Meetings. They shall sent out an feedback form after each Internal Meeting and shall meet with the Organising Committee to discuss the feedback.

Competitions
C01: Director for ENC
The ELSA Negotiation Competition (ENC) involves two teams negotiating a fictitious case before a jury of legal professionals. It is structured on two levels: The Local Rounds and the National Round. As Director for the ELSA Negotiation Competition, you will be in charge of coordinating all aspects that factor into the organisation, focusing primarily on the national round. These include logistics, administration, financing, managing participants and judges, and many more. This position offers project management skills, networking opportunities and a greater understanding of company law

- Flexible to undertake various tasks and work under pressure

Professional Development
PD01: Director for Professional Development
The Director for Professional Development shall be responsible for planning and collaborating on all career and skills development related events occuring in ELSA the Netherlands. The director has a degree of flexibility in events that they can plan ranging from career fairs, workshops to career days.
Requirements
- Strong English language skills
- Excellent professional communication ability
- Previous experience in traineeship process is a benefit
- Motivation and ability to initiate and plan events in team and individual settings
- Willing to commit ~4 hours per week to this role
PD02: Director for National Traineeship Programme
The Director for the Dutch Traineeship Program shall be at the forefront of the planning and implementation of the new ELSA NL project of offering internships within the Netherlands to the network. This director will be in close contact with the VP in charge of PD to brainstorm the framework for the project and afterwards implement the project in stages.
Requirements
- Strong English language skills
- Dutch language knowledge B2+ is preferred, but not required
- Excellent professional communication ability
- No prior experience in ELSA is required
- Organization and time management skills
- Willing to commit ~4 hours per week to this role
Seminars & Conferences
SC01: Director for International Conference
The Director of International Conference shall help the VP and the Assistant S&C to organise International Conference. The Director shall have to come up with new ideas for different kinds of events, list of speakers, etc. Looking for someone who’s ready to dedicate time and a lot of effort especially when the conferences are taking place. We need someone who is motivated to find venues, accommodations, speakers, etc.
